Disneyland Hong Kong

Disneyland Hong kong is the fifth magic kingdom- style park make. It is located at Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. The park officially opened on September 12,2005. To avoid a cultural problem Disney decided to make this park in the rules of Feng Shui, and the park guides speak Japanese,English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin. The park maps are also printed in traditional and simplified Chinese as well as English, French, and Japanese. This Disneyland is the smallest Disneyland out there it total capacity is 34,000 people. Another thing that Disneyland Hong Kong started to use, is that they require that you have your finger biometrically scanned at every entrence unless you are under 10 years olds.

This theme park has 4 classic themed
sections which are Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrow land. The newest of these 4 is Tomorrow land, and Hong Kong's version really puts emphasis on everything being metallic. They plan to add 3 New themed sections by the end of 2014. Some new attractions they have for Tomorrowland are the Art of Animation, Festival of The Lion King, Demon Jungle. Overall this Disneyland is pretty exciting, the only problem this Disneyland has is overcrowding. On most weekends the wait for rides is about 2 hours and the wait to get your food from the food court is about 45 mins. But Disneyland Hong Kong's shareholders say that this problem will be fixed by 2014 when the new themed lands are opened. Overall this disneyland is another "Happiest place on Earth".

Disneys World of Color

Disney has a new show called the World of Color. The show is a combination of many Disney shows and movies. For example Wall-E, Little Mermaid, Pocohantas, Lion King, Toy Story, Lilo and Stitch, Aladin, and many more. The new thing Disney has started is that they project the show in mid-air. Disney's imagineers (the people who design the rides)have figured out how to show the    show in mid-air. What they figured out was that if they sprayed water in the night air, they can project the show on the water. Disney has spent $75,000,000 on building and designing. The show also has over 1,200 water fountains spraying. Disney began to create this show in fall of 2007 and had their first show on June 11, 2010. The music was preformed by the London Symphony Orchestra. This show is one of a kind. Another thing is that this show does not waste water, the water is reused from the lagoon built by disney.
