Disneys World of Color
Disney has a new show called the World of Color. The show is a combination of many Disney shows and movies. For example Wall-E, Little Mermaid, Pocohantas, Lion King, Toy Story, Lilo and Stitch, Aladin, and many more. The new thing Disney has started is that they project the show in mid-air. Disney's imagineers (the people who design the rides)have figured out how to show the show in mid-air. What they figured out was that if they sprayed water in the night air, they can project the show on the water. Disney has spent $75,000,000 on building and designing. The show also has over 1,200 water fountains spraying. Disney began to create this show in fall of 2007 and had their first show on June 11, 2010. The music was preformed by the London Symphony Orchestra. This show is one of a kind. Another thing is that this show does not waste water, the water is reused from the lagoon built by disney.

The world of color looks so interesting, I think you should also describe the images that appear in the show, because they're also a big part of it. I really liked how you described the actual show, you were just missing that one part! You should get some feedback from other people on how they thought it was, to excite the viewers.
ReplyDeleteI've never got to see this show yet because when I went there, it wasn't open yet :[
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I've seen it on youtube and it's an amazing sight to see. But I'm sure it's better in real life. I've heard that some people get emotional when they see it, especially during the Lion King scene where Simba loses his father, Mufasa, and the song "So Close" starts playing. I think it's astonishing how shooting water, lights, and projections are used to entertain us in this show. It's like the fountains at Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas!
The World of Color was a wonderful show.Watching World of Color was the only reason that i went to California Adventure. Have you seen it in person? I really thought that it was amazing the way that they used the fountains of water as a screen and the used a projector to show the show. It was really sad when "so close" played and how like everyone got a happy ending except Simba.
